8 concerts will take place at all halls of the Big Palace, Atrium of the Kitchen House and at the Palace Square during two days, on June 28 and 29. Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic, Maxim Paster (tenor), Maria Maksakova (mezzo-soprano), Dmitri Kogan (violin), Lyudmila Golub (organ), Maki Sekiya (piano, Japan), State orchestra “Guslars of Russia”, Ensemble of soloists of Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic, Chamber orchestra “Moscow Camerata”.

Grandiose Open Air at the Palace Square on June 28 will be the most large-scaled concert of Tsaritsyno Music Festival. Legendary cantata by Carl Orff Carmina Burana – at 20:00. Soloists – Elvira Hokhlova (soprano), Alexander Bogdanov (tenor), Andrey Baturkin (baritone), Yurlov State Academic Choir Chapel of Russia, Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic. Conductor – Dmitri Jurowski. At 22:00 rock concert of the “Two Stars” TV show winner Olga Kormukhina “The BEST” will continue the Open Air. Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic will participate in this concert as well. Conductor – Dmitri Jurowski. Access to these two concerts is free.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Open air format and free entrance help to popularize classical music art and give an opportunity to thousands people to attend such kind of event. This democratic format may attract not only music lovers, but new audience and young viewers as well. In 2013 about 35 000 people attended the Open Air in Tsaritsyno.

“Tsaritsyno Musical Assemblies” Festival becomes traditional, and in 2014 it is supposed to become the main musical event this summer in Moscow.
