World Premiere of A. Rybnikov at the Grand Hall of the Conservatory
On October 23 Russian Philharmonic took part in a concert to celebrate Alexey Rybnikov’s 50 years as a composer. In this concert at the Grand Hall of the Conservatory the Orchestra was also joined by State Academic Choral Capella of Russia named after A.A. Yurlov and cellist Alexander Kniazev. Horia Andreesku (Romania) was conducting. The program included the world premiere of Concerto for cello and orchestra, Choral Suite “The Quietest Prayer”, and Symphony no. 4 Vivo al Mondo.
