Vadim Repin for the first time with Russian Philharmonic
On 18 December 2013 the greatest contemporary violinist Vadim Repin performed with Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic at the Grand Hall of the Conservatory. The concert took place as part of the Third Moscow Christmas Festival of Classical Music. The program included: Concerto No. 1 for Violin and Orchestra (M. Bruch), The Fifth Symphony (P. Tchaikovsky), and Suite from the Ballet “Romeo and Juliet” (S. Prokofiev). Dmitri Jurowski was conducting.
