Elegy. To the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide
On April 21 Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic held the concert Elegy dedicated to the tragic date in world history – 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide. Symphonic and vocal masterpieces by A. Khachaturian, A. Babajanian, A. Arutiunian, Komitas, and other Armenian composers. Soloists – Gajk Kazazyan, violin; Narek Hakhnazaryan, cello; Alexander Sinchuk, violin; Alexander Vetukh, trumpet; soloists of the Armenian Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A. Spendiarov. Conductor – Karen Durgaryan. Venue – Svetlanov Hall, Moscow International House of Music.
