Debut at Bratislava Music Festival
On 30 September Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic performed at the historic Reduta Hall in the Slovak Philharmonic. The concert that finished the Orchestra’s tour of France and Slovakia has been part of the 49th annual Bratislava Music Festival (http://www.bhsfestival.sk/). The program included Overture to Glinka’s opera “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Suite Scheherazade. The conductor – Kazuki Yamada (Japan), the soloist – Leonard Schreiber (Belgium). The concert was attended by the Culture Minister of the Slovak Republic Ivan Sechik with his wife.
