Concert to L. Kogan's 90th anniversary / "Winter Daydreams"
On November 16 and 17 two concerts of Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic took place. Both concerts were conducted by Dmitri Jurowski. Concert on November 16 was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of birth of outstanding violinist Leonid Kogan, and his grandson Dmitri Kogan was a soloist in this concert. Concert on November 17 was called “Winter Daydreams”. It consisted of compositions by P. Tchaikovsky, including the symphony of the same name. Soloist – Sergey Ostrovsky, violin.
