Tango with Stars
This evening tango – classic and modern, serious and ironic, Latin-American and…even Russian – will reign at Svetlanov Hall of Moscow International House of Music.
Tango appeared in Argentina, it combined Negro and Spanish melodies of habanera and milonga. It came to Europe at the very beginning of the XX century, transforming, gaining European features, passed through ups and downs, and finally won all hearts all over the world. Neither time, nor modern dances – nothing could stop its impressive sweep. Tango is not only a dance, tango is unquenched love and passion. Tango still agitates, excites, heats blood, it is danced and listened to… Tango is walking triumphantly all around the planet.
Yury Medyanik – graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, multiinstrumentalist, artistic director of the “Emotion-orchestra” ensemble, prize-winner of several International competitions. At the concert the musician will play three instruments – bandoneon, accordion, and violin.
