Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic has prepared a special program including the best and the most popular songs about sport dedicating it to Winter Olympic Games 2014. Everyone remembers the songs by Alexandra Pakhmutova, such as A Coward Doesn’t Play Hockey; The Team of Our Youth; Sports Heroes; How Young We’ve Been; Good Bye, Moscow; Olympic Ball; songs by Soloviov-Sedoy and Dunayevsky; We Are the Champions (Queen), etc. All of them will be performed by splendid soloists.

Vasily Ladyuk – prize-winner of “Francisco Vinias” Opera Singers International Competition in Barcelona (Spain, 2005, I Prize and Audience Choice Award), “Operalia” in Madrid (Spain, 2005, I Prize), “Shizuoka International Opera Competition” in Shizuoka (Japan, 2005, I Prize). Since 2003 Vasily Ladyuk is a soloist of the Novaya Opera Theatre, since 2007 – guest soloist of the Bolshoy Theatre of Russia.

Milan and Naples, Bologna and Rome, Paris and London, Vienna and Zurich, Berlin and Dresden, Helsinki and Stockholm, New York and Los Angeles, Boston and Toronto, Seoul and Tokyo –  the names of the soloists of “Tenors of the XXI century” are published on the playbills in these cities and many others. All participants are soloists of the leading Moscow opera theatres such as the Bolshoy Theatre of Russia, the Novaya Opera Music Theatre named after E. Kolobov, the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre.

The concert will give the audience energy boost and cheerfulness, and presence of Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolay Dobronravov will make this concert true holiday of sincerity, kindness and optimism.
